THE COMMERCIAL AND SERVICE STUDY AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR COMPREHENSION OF INTRAURBAN DYNAMICS
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to present a research proposal developed for local scale, aiming to promote discussions about intraurban structure and the relation of information collected on the ground on commercial land use and services. The proposal seeks to provide academics with the identification of the dynamics of land use and orientation to obtain empirical data, correlation with the studies developed in the discipline of Urban Geography, besides generating subsidies for urban planning and management.The composition of the existing and investigated conditions corresponds to the identification of the structure for the business, the approximation between the occupied space and the location of the activities, starting from observations that consider advantages and disadvantages.
