THE SANTUARY OF SAO MIGUEL ARCANJO IN THE CITY OF BANDEIRANTS - PR, AS A PROPOSAL OF PEDAGOGICAL TOURISM IN GEOGRAPHY TEACHING
Abstract
Pedagogical tourism has become an important tool in the teaching of geography. In this way, this research aimed to emphasize pedagogical tourism as a tool for teaching Geography, having as scenario the Sanctuary of São Miguel Arcanjo in the municipality of Bandeirantes, state of Paraná. Methodologically this research is a case study, which was developed through bibliographic readings, books, scientific articles on the proposed theme, as well as documentary research arranged by the city hall of Bandeirantes and visits to the sanctuary, with In order to obtain information and materials for the elaboration of the pedagogical proposal in the sanctuary of São Miguel Arcanjo, authors were used as: Ludka (2012); Garcia (2005) and Coriolano (1998), for the construction of the research, seeking to understand the relationships that are established and that define the organization of space. In this way, pedagogical tourism becomes an important tool in the teaching of Geography to study and understand the social, cultural phenomena that occur in space and that transform the landscape.
