GEOGRAPHY AND SARS-COV 2: VIEWS AND REFLECTIONS ON THE PANDEMIC

Abstract

The Geography of Health has become an essential discipline, debating the concepts brought by geographic science, correlating them with determinant factors of health and disease, aligning social discussions. This paper proposes to discuss the relationship of Globalization, a term used in several sciences, especially in geography, and the dissemination of Sars-CoV 2, highlighting social inequalities, which are more intense in this period of pandemic. It is noteworthy that this text was built during the quarantine period, with tendencies to flexibilization of social isolation, through a methodology based on literature review, data monitoring and proposition of reflections on the impacts caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus, Sars-CoV 2.
