VIDA RURAL Y MOVILIDADES EN LA PATAGONIA CENTRAL. APROXIMACIONES DESDE UN RELATO EXPERIENCIAL
Abstract
The deep rural spaces of Argentine Patagonia have lost population as a result of mobility towards urban spaces and the low population turnover due to the settlement of new settlers. The objective of the article is to analyze these mobilities considering the living conditions in the deep rural spaces of the region and the factors of attraction of the cities, with the purpose of contributing with a multi-causal explanation of these mobilities and the loss of rural population. It starts from the background review to contextualize the analysis carried out on the basis of semi-structured interviews and an in-depth interview carried out with a cartographic research approach. The results and discussions put the levels of analysis at the individual level in dialogue with levels of analysis at the local and regional scale to advance in the understanding of the mobilities under analysis and their relationship with living conditions and access to services.
