GEOECOLOGICA CHARACTERIZATION OF UPPER PORTION OF RIVER BASIN MOURÃO-PR: GRANT PLANNING LANDSCAPE

Abstract

Studies have landscape as a category of analysis within the systemic approach seek to present results that are the basis for the elaboration of planning projects within the environmental theme. Some authors working with the landscape in this perspective, suggest that one of the first steps of the studies is the inventory, which constitutes the physical characterization and anthropogenic landscape, being called here geoecologica characterization. This step provides basic information about the support and coverage, allowing the understanding of landscape dynamics. Given this context, the aim of this paper is to present a geoecolgica landscape in the upper reaches of the river basin Mourão-PR. This basin covers portions of the municipalities of Mamborê, Luiziana and Campo Mourão, located in western-central region of Paraná. The intent is to provide basic information about the physical environment and use and occupation, with a view to developing further work on the landscape of the basin. Literature searches were made, information gathering, preparation of cartographic materials and field work. The geoecológica characterization allowed to recognize the support and coverage of the landscape and highlighted the dynamic between the elements topography, soil and use.
