THE RESEARCH AND EXTENSION EXPERIENCES IN UEMG ABOUT RURAL EDUCATION: THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL REFLECTIONS
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to investigate the performance of the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG) on the experiences of extension and research projects that deal with Rural Education and its impacts in cities with low population density in the state of Minas Gerais. In the investigation process, we sought through an analysis of the research and extension projects that participated in the PAPq and PAEx edicts in the years 2017 to 2018. The approach under the theoretical and methodological aspects of Carlo Ginzburg indicative paradigm provided us, through the evidence, evidence, marks and signs, to infer that despite the advances in the proposals for research and extension projects through the development programs, there is still a need for the University to seek more intensively to participate in the organic life of the subjects that compose the spaces of the peasantry, and to better articulate their relations with the subjects of small towns in Minas Gerais, expanding their conditions of partnerships in the process of training these subjects who inhabit the territories of the countryside and the city.
