Abstract

The article reflects on the Problematization Methodology of Learning (MP) applied in an extension project of university with the objective of verifying the potentialities and limitations through critical thinking, a description of epistemological experience. For the development of MP, the Maguerez´s Arch was used, contemplating the five stages: observation of reality and definition of a study problem, definition of key points, theorization, hypotheses of solution and application to reality. The case study was carried out in the Edificar Project whose general objective is to design, plan and execute the construction of a social housing, for families with low purchasing power from the development of a social technology. With the application of MP, it is possible to affirm that the role of the teacher is essential as a facilitator of learning, providing support and direction, making students confident, proactive, developing participatory and democratic leadership. Students have developed innovative techniques and through transdisciplinarity have learned in practice the theory of the classroom, working values, skills and abilities becoming a differentiated professional.
