URBAN MOBILITY AND THE INFORMAL JOB: THE “MOTOTAXIBOYS” REALITY AT THE MACAPÁ-AP STREETS

Abstract

The present work has for objective to show a brief discussion about the activity of the informal work of mototáxi in the capital macapaense. Tends as analysis proposal: the informal work and its causes and complications so much in economic parameters, so much in what it involves the urban transport. To understand those new work forms that he/she escapes from the legal mark of the State becomes complex, but, however it intends to show factors that unchain that phenomenon in the city. Once, that identified the precariousness of the urban public transportation in the city qualitatively and quantitatively. On the other hand taken by a perverse system that it intensifies the social division of the work, it was created in the city another circuit that comes if showing as a flexible form for workers' insert in the labor market. Therefore the study happens under the optics of the effective system and tends as theoretical bases the literatures that permeate the Urban Geography and the Urban Sociology.
