Abstract
This paper aim to draw some notes on the socio-territorial dynamic in a small town, with the spatial area of the city of Serrinha dos Pintos, located in the Alto Oeste Potiguar. So, we opted for a methodological approach that emphasizes issues of the economic and sociospatial, using number from IBGE, search literature and empirical experience, with records and conversations with agents and elements of space, drivers of socio-territorial dynamic, which are: men, institutions, ecological environment and infrastructure, whose role materialized, especially in the economic scope, in the services and the political factor, configures itself of fundamental importance in the territorial dynamic of this city. Stand out, as vectors of this dynamic, the economics factors, the services and local government. These factors are not neutral and are related to levels of national and even global. That city is going through significant deficiencies related to social services, as well as the labor market, linked directly to its own spatial development. In this sense, the example of Serrinha dos Pintos (RN), the small towns still need further geographic studies and interventions, because the production process and organization, concerning the production and reproduction of their space revealing its dynamic socio-territorial process is in a constant process, affecting their society.
