USING THE SOFTWARE FOR ANALYSIS PHILCARTO HDI-EVOLUTION OF EDUCATION OF METROPOLITAN AREA LONDRINA

Abstract

This article refers to the metropolitan area of Londrina (RML), analyzes the evolution of the HDI - Education from 2000 and 2007 of the study area. The aim of this paper is to analyze the maps smoothed indicators and trends on the rate of Education of the Metropolitan Londrina in 2000 and 2007 doing so, the interpretation of their results and comparing with the evolution of education in Londrina. The methodology used was the preparation of maps using the computer program PHILCARTO. This program is not considered a GIS, but gives a broad view of geographers to be analyzed in a particular area of study. This article is composed of five maps made through this computer program, which identifies the best and worst educational indicators in the metropolitan region. The municipalities this region are: Bela Vista do Paraiso, Cambé, Ibiporã, Jataizinho, Londrina, Rolândia, and Tamarana, and Sertanópolis those wishing to be part of this region are: Apucarana, Arapongas, Assaí, Califórnia, Jaquapitã, South of Marilândia, Pitangueiras, Primeiro de Maio, Sabáudia. The results werw that South of Marilândia and Tamarana has a prominent negative for education content and Cambé, Londrina, Rolândia and Arapogas stood out as having good positive higlight concepts including the national level. This research highlights the importance of cartographic representations in an area of spatial and geographic analysis of data related to facts of reality.
