THE AGRARIAN SPACE BY GEOGRAPHIC SPACE OPTICAL AND LANDSCAPE

Abstract

The intense dynamics observed in the agrarian space, according to different agricultural models for which has been submitted, requires that its analysis is anchored in solid conceptual foundation for a better understanding. Supported this premise, it is that this work tries, from benchmarks concepts of geographic scope, namely the "geographic space" and "landscape", analyze and understand the motion and dynamics triggered in the agricultural area of the Paraná Northwest. Stage of deep transformations, from the time of its colonization in the 1940s, when the coffee culture leverages the regional economy bringing with it a whole peculiar organization supported by small property, family work and direct link to the land, this region constitutes a Lab conducive to the agricultural context study purposes. More recently, the new agricultural model carries on bases closer relations with the capital through crops such as grazing, sugarcane, cassava, orange, among others, marking a new form of spatial organization guided by the concentration land and employment relationships. Revealed this complex regional agrarian scenario, it is understood that from the perspective established by the geographical space and the landscape, it becomes possible to grasp the dynamic behavior of the agents and actors that make this space.
