THE TERRITORIALIZATION OF POWER GROUPS DURING THE CREATION OF THE VÁRZEAS STATE PARK OF THE IVINHEMA-MS-BRASIL RIVER

Abstract
This research work is linked to the reflections made in the doctoral research conducted at the Graduate Program in Geography from the State University of Maringa (UEM), Production concentration area of Space and Territorial Dynamics. It focuses on the problems of the Ivinhema floodplain State Park (PEVRI), located in MatoGrosso do Sul state was terrritorializado by power relations and external interests to the site, which when created expand the territory of political, ideological and previously nonexistent economic to local. To understand the dynamics of territorialization of power groups when creating the PEVRI, it was necessary to carry out methodological procedures, such as literature review, with readings and book report works on the topic, survey of primary data (informal interviews (unstructured ) and interviews for guidelines), and secondary survey (documents and laws that bolstered the creation of the protected area). Was obtained as a result of this research a theoretical apparatus that dialogues with each other, especially regarding the thematic power, territory, territorial and conservation unit, and power groups was diagnosed who were directly involved with the creation of PEVRI in however, the interests of these groups of power, while the territorialized materialized the territory of the protected area.Downloads
