THE USE OF THE MOCKUP AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF THE GEOGRAPHIC CONTENTS IN THE SIXTH GRADE FROM THE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Abstract

This article purposes to analyze the conception of the 6th grade students in relation to the development and their cognitive abilities, comparing mockups identified by colors and mockups totally white, objecting to identify possible differences in the students comprehension. The research consisted in developing the theory allied to the pratice in the Geography's contents, specially the relief and hydrography. It was sought through the mockups confection, to verify the learning process with the developed activities. The empirical study had the participation of twentt-eight students. It was observed that the main importance of the mockup as a didacticpedagogical recourse is to contribute to the teaching-learning process, standing out from other recourses because development through the assimilation and accommodation process, defined by Jean Piaget, in favor to the geographic reasoning. The research was carried out at the state school Professora Ivone Soares Castanharo, in Campo-Mourão-PR.
