SOJÍCOLA EXPANSION IN TRADITIONAL TERRITORY OF PRODUCERS IN MICROREGION OF CHAPADINHA – MARANHÃO

Abstract

The present work aims to understand the dynamics of agribusiness sojícola Chapadinha in micro-and think about the socio-cultural transformations that occur in traditional territories peasants. For the preparation of this study was a literature review of books, theses, dissertations, academic papers and specialized sites. Regarding specific aspects of the study area were conducted field work in order to analyze, together with the peasants, the changes caused by the expansion of soy and its implications on the traditional territories, its history and its cultural, socioeconomic and politicians. We also consider ways of life and their variations through the different characteristics of the Cerrado in Maranhão, traditional communities and their specific products. As we approach the field of rural communities, their socio-cultural forms and contents as well as analyze the territoritalities and its consequences in the (re) organization of places.
