Abstract
This article aims to analyze the existing traditional trade in Rio Preto Street, in the city of Quirinópolis (Goiás), seeking to understand the social, cultural and economic traditional relationships still existent in that territory. From this perspective, the research sought to understand how this trade is seen in the current urban dynamics, noting that preservation of historical and cultural property cannot be the result of only a segment of society, but a duty of all, that is endowed with interests, strategies and practices that enhance the urban memory. To the construction of this work, the theoretical background, the fieldwork and the questionnaires with 30 merchants and 100 consumers were fundamental, presenting the main results of the research.Downloads
