Abstract

Despite the relevance of the urban load in the central areas of Brazilian cities, in the case of Uberlandia the transportation of goods and goods is often a secondary concern in urban planning priorities. Conflicts in the central areas still persist and this has made it difficult to establish rules so that urban logistics satisfies both the supplier companies and the merchants, drivers, pedestrians and residents who compete in this area for their activities. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the urban logistics of cargoes in the central area of Uberlândia. The central zone 1, the hypercentre of the city, is dominated by the commercial activities and services, with a significant density of housing and Various social and community facilities. As a result, there was a limited and concentrated scenario, but denotative of the potential for the application of proposed actions. These are small, if compared to international experiences, but can be significant in Uberlândia planning, generating a mobilization of agents and conciliation conflicting interests, aiming at the socioeconomic development of the city, still below innovations in Urban Logistics of Loads.
