THE ORGANIZATION OF THE URBAN SPACE OF SERRA IN THE METROPOLITAN REGION OF THE GREAT VICTORY (RMGV-ES)

Abstract

This work deals with the urbanization process of the municipality of Serra in the Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória (RMGV) between 1950 and 2014. It was identified the transformations of the urban space of the municipality by means of analyzes on the number and location of urban subdivisions, (BNH) and the Institute of Guidance for Housing Cooperatives of Espírito Santo (INOCOOP-ES) and the recent real estate production. As a result of these transformations, he noticed that the organization of the urban space is dispersed, marked by an urban presence that has been lately valued in function of the expansion of the real estate production.
