CONSIDERATIONS ON THE TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE MAMBORÊ-PR URBAN LANDSCAPE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATIONS

Abstract

With the advancement and spread of information technologies, photography is increasingly available to people, making it possible to record changes in the urban landscape more quickly and to achieve greater storage of photographic records. Thus, through photography it is possible to study the changes in the urban landscape more quickly and to obtain greater storage of photographic records. On the other hand, throughout the history, there has been a change of focus in the photography, and some subjects end up not being prioritized so often. Thus, the present article brings a discussion in the scope of the study of the urban landscape, based on the use of photography as an auxiliary tool in the analysis of the urban space transformations of the Municipality of Mamborê-PR. The image, as a record of different spacetimes, presents itself as an important research instrument capable of representing changes in the landscape in different historical contexts.
