A IMPORTÂNCIA DOS EVENTOS CULTURAIS NO ESPAÇO ACADÊMICO: O CASO DO ECULT NA UTFPR EM APUCARANA – PR
Abstract
The present work presents one of the activities carried out by DAHUM (Department of Humanities), the ECULT (Cultural Event). One of the attributions of the said department is to promote artistic-cultural events and to divulge them in the Campus Apucarana of the UTFPR (Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná). ECULT is an action that presents the most varied types of cultural manifestations such as solo music, solos of various instruments, bands, recitals of poems, dances like ballet, rap, k-pop, Zumba, zouk, exhibitions of handicrafts, ancient books, short films and amateur plays among others. There are presentations of the cheerleaders, the battery of Athletics and even sporting events that take advantage of different academic space-time to express their importance in the integral formation of the academic community. It will be presented a brief tour of the beginning of the cultural activities in Campus Apucarana as well as the challenges for the organization of actions of this nature. It will also be a reflection on what culture is, according to some theorists chosen as reference, public policies in the allocation of funds for such events and the interference of ECULT in the space of UTFPR in the city of Apucarana.
