Abstract
This research was carried out through a literature review, and the objective was to analyze and discuss the interpersonal relations between teachers and students, aiming to understand how the student's learning occurs in an effective and meaningful way. The referent study also seeks to present the benefits that are brought about by affection among students and teachers in the classroom, avoiding in the majority of cases, abandonment, demotivation or even rebellion, which among other forms may manifest itself through attitudes of aggressiveness and indiscipline. It is not enough that the conduct of the teacher is only that of transmitting knowledge, because the relationship that characterizes teaching and learning takes place from the link between people, after all, the student will remember mainly how he learned and not only what was taught to him. Therefore, it is necessary to value human relationships to teach, and it is possible to achieve the main objective of the teaching-learning process, which is to relate the contents addressed to the students' daily life, thus contributing to the understanding of knowledge and to the formation of a socially responsible individual, in this sense building result of meaningful learning.
