A DANÇA FOLCLÓRICA NA PERSPECTIVA DOS PROFESSORES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA DA REDE MUNICIPAL DE MARINGÁ-PR

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research sought to analyze the dimension that physical education teachers from the municipal network of Maringá-PR assume in the school space in relation to folk dances in the process of training children from elementary school to early years. A questionnaire with open and closed questions was applied to 53 teachers of the network from different regions of the city, the topics raised varied from the profile of the participants such as age, place of training, as well as themes of how dances work in physical education classes. After collection, the data were treated and tabulated according to categories of analysis proposed by BARDIN (2013). The results showed that even with all the difficulty in dealing with the topic at school, teachers identify with the proposal and bring a positive look at the proposition of teaching dancing folkloric manifestations as a way of enabling students to have significant access to knowledge of folkloric manifestations. as a form of expression of popular culture.
