DISCOURSE ANALYSIS IN THE EXPERIENCE OF DRIFTINGS
Abstract
The objective of this article is to advance the experience of drifting, rescuing from the participating group, also called “the navigators”, their perceptions of the experience of drifting, from the sounds and images captured in the exercise of the practice of drifting. To do so, we work with the concepts of "Discourse Analysis" and discourse marks. Two virtual meetings were held to obtain the narrative. Due to the pandemic, we created a new perspective of drifting, the Drift in the Closure – DC, and we proposed that navigators try this practice. However, the group disbanded, like so many other activities due to the health crisis, which made it impossible for the 3rd meeting of the group to comment on their drifting experiences, in the restricted spaces. Only my experience with DC remained, which I narrated in one of the items in this article. The proposed project was minimally completed, advancing in the creation of new drift possibilities.
