ANÁLISE ESPACIAL DA MOBILIDADE PENDULAR PARA CURSAR ENSINO SUPERIOR NA CIDADE DE CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO (PR)

Abstract

 Cornélio Procópio is located in Norte Pioneiro Paranaense, its headquarters district has several higher education establishments, public and private, with face-to-face and distance learning modalities. This research aims to analyze the population mobility of students who moved to pursue higher education in the city of Cornélio Procópio in 2023. Therefore, this study highlights its urban centrality exercised from the analysis of the connections and relationships of these students who traveled to the geographic area in question to consume higher education services, as well as other sectors and services that the city offers. The research was based on data collection through digital means and information gathering in the field. Subsequently, data analysis and systematization were carried out and, finally, graphic and cartographic materials were created for spatial analysis. With this, it was possible to understand which municipalities were sending and not sending students to Cornélio Procópio in the year 2023 and highlighting public universities as the biggest intensifiers of the emphasis on commuting mobility for higher education courses.
