Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text is in agreement with the model provided by the journal; The figures and tables are indicated and inserted immediately after their citation.
- All authors are included in metadata with their appropriate email contacts and affiliations.
- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
- DOI for references were informed when possible.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Diretrizes para Autores,
- In case of submission to a peer reviewed section, the instructions available at ensuring blind peer evaluation were followed.
Artigos Originais
These are original articles resulting from scientific research that present original data from investigations based on empirical or theoretical data and using scientific methodology. These articles address findings related to experimental or observational aspects of animal motility, with medical, biochemical, psychological, and/or social characteristics. They must include descriptive analysis and/or inferences based on the authors' own data. The structure should be divided into introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, along with the required items.
Relatos de Caso/Experiência
These are articles that represent descriptive data from one or more cases, exploring a method or problem through examples. These works present the main characteristics of the studied individual(s), including information such as sex, age, etc. The research may have been conducted on humans or animals. They should contain descriptive data, analysis of conceptual implications, description of procedures or intervention strategies, supported by methodologically appropriate evidence of effectiveness evaluation. The structure should be divided into introduction, development, and conclusions, along with the required items.
Notas curtas
These are concise scientific publications that present preliminary results, initial findings, or brief reports of specific research. The goal of short communications is to quickly share discoveries of immediate interest to the scientific community, without the need to wait for a more extensive or detailed study. They are particularly useful for communicating new or unexpected observations, innovative methods, or results from ongoing research. It is important to note that Review Articles are not accepted for Short Communications.
