ANÁLISE NUMÉRICA DO COMPORTAMENTO À FLEXÃO DE PISOS MISTOS DE PEQUENA ALTURA COM INOVADORA CONEXÃO DE CISALHAMENTO
Abstract
Abstract: With globally established composite structures, space is now open for innovative composite structural elements, such as slim floor. This system consists of steel beams and concrete or composite slabs supported on the lower flange of the profiles, resulting in a reduction of the total floor height. A numerical study was conducted on two typologies of slim floors composed of steel profiles with openings in the web: the Shallow Cellular Composite Floor Beam (SCCFB) and the Composite Slim-Floor Beam (CoSFB). These typologies allow the use of an innovative shear connection, with steel bars and in-situ cast concrete passing through the profile openings. The objective was to evaluate the contribution of this shear connection to flexural behavior, concluding that the presence of bars increases the resistant capacity of the systems, and the larger the opening, the greater this capacity.
