SOYGRO MODEL TO ESTIMATE SOYBEAN PRODUCTIVITY IN THE AGRICULTURAL AREA OF LONDRINA, STATE OF PARANÁ

  • Elcio Silverio Klosowski UEM

Abstract

A growth and development simulation model denominated SOYGRO was carried out to estimate soybean [Glycine max (L) Merr.] development and productivity in Londrina, in the north of the State of Paraná, Brazil. In order to simulate the accurate values, the model required a series of daily weather input data, parameters of soil features, water rate and characteristics of the cultivar management in the simulation process. A series of specific genetic coefficients for each cultivar and maturation group was used to calibrate the model. The calibration consisted of approaching the estimated values of the growth stages and productivity to the values observed on field. The performance of the model was suitable to estimate the average productivity of BR-16, Bossier and Paraná cultivars. The model is also suitable to evaluate the hydric balance.
