An agrichemical contamination risk chart is provided of surface and sub-surface waters in the Lajeado Stream basin, an affluent of the Pirapó river, state of Paraná, Brazil. The correlation of attributes of the physical environment coupled with social and economical factors constitutes the methods employed. Consequently, four potential agrichemical contamination risk categories have been determined: Class I: low potential contamination risk of surface waters and high potential contamination risk of sub-surface waters; Class II: medium to low potential risk contamination of surface waters and medium to high potential contamination risk of sub-surface waters; Class III: medium to high potential contamination risk of surface waters and medium to low potential contamination risk of sub-surface waters; Class IV: high potential contamination risk of surface waters and low contamination risks of sub-surface waters. risk chart; contamination; agrichemicals; Lajeado streamDownloads
