Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the rainfall pattern in the Unity of Gerenciamento of the Middle Paranapanema (UGRH). For so much 33 rainfall series were used in the period from 1970 to 2000. We have used different statistical parameters, such as mean, standard deviation and correlation. Also it was calculated linear correlations of the event El Niño 1982/1983, besides classification of homogeneous areas inside the basin.

Jonas Teixeira Nery, UNESP

Possui graduação em Meteorologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1978) e doutorado em Meteorologia pela Universidade de Buenos Aires (1993). Atualmente é professor assistente doutor - UNESP - Cãmpus Experimental de Ourinhos. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Meteorologia Aplicada, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: precipitação, variabilidade, el niño, anomalias e enos. Fez pós doutorado no INPE, na área de Meteorologia por Satélite. Professor do Programa de Pós Graduação em Geografia de Presidente Prudente Currí­culo Lattes
