Simulation of bean culture productivity, using the Cropgro-drybean model, for the region of Maringá, Paraná State, Brazil - DOI: 10.4025/actasciagron.v27i2.1855
Abstract
The present study was carried out in the region of Maringá, Paraná State, (latitude of 23º27'S, longitude of 51º57' and altitude of 542 meters) where the model of growth and development simulation of the bean culture, the Cropgro-dry bean model, was used. This model simulates the fenologic development and culture growth considering water balance in the soil. Simulations from 1980 to 2000 in a total of twenty crops, considering the sowing of Iapar 57 cultivar in the following dates: 1st, 10th and 20th of March, 1st of April, 20th and 30th of July, 10th and 20th of August and 1st of September. The entrance data for the simulations were climatological diaries of maximum and minimum temperatures, total precipitation and global solar radiation; physical hydric characteristics of the soil, permanent wilting point, density, etc. Results showed higher productivity on the 10th and 20th of August sowings and on the 1st of September. The 1st of April and 20th of July sowings were the lowest with 25% less on average than the highest.Downloads
