Evaluation of cassava cultivars in the counties of Maringá and Rolândia, in Paraná State, Brazil
Abstract
The cultivars Branca de Santa Catarina, IAC 12, Fibra, IAC 41-85, IAC 45-85, IAC 78-85, IAC 163-85 and IAC 321-85 were evaluated in the counties of Maringá and Rolândia in 1996/97 and 1997/98, with the objective of indicating superior materials to meet the needs of cassava industrialization in the north and northwest regions of Paraná State. The treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replicate plots. Considering all traits evaluated, the cultivars IAC 45-85, IAC 163-85, IAC 321-85 and Fibra were superior to the others, which were considered more appropriated to the recommendation to cassava growers from these regions.Downloads
