Evaluate of two penetrometers in penetration resistance of Haplustox in different use - DOI: 10.4025/actasciagron.v25i1.2346
Abstract
Soil compaction affects root growth and plant production. Compaction state of Haplustox under cotton, sugar-cane and forest, at 0.0-0.4 m depth, has been evaluated by penetration resistance of impact and static penetrometers. Impact and static penetrometers had similar results and significant correlation of 0.80. Cotton cultivated area cotton presented values of penetration resistance above 3.5 MPa, at 0.15-0.35 m depth.Downloads
