Fertilization with N, P, K and micronutrients associated with limestone and gypsum in the production of green mass, bromatological composition and nutrient level in mulberry leaves (<em>Morus alba</em> L.)
Abstract
The effects of limestone and gypsum associated with NPK and micronutrients fertilization in leaves per plant weight, branches per plant weight, bromatological composition and nutrient levels of mulberry leaves were evaluated in the following treatments: control, NPK, micronutrientes, limestone, limestone + NPK, limestone + micronutrients, gypsum, gypsum + NPK and gypsum + micronutrients. The whole aerial part of the plant was weighed, the leaves removed and then the branches were weighed again, determining the leaves per plant weight and the branches per plant weight. One hundred and fifty grams of leaves per plot were collected from the fifth to the tenth open leaf, dried in stove, crushed and analyzed bromatologically. The results showed that the fertilization with gypsum + NPK promoted a significant increase in the production of leaves and of branches for mulberry. In the bromatological composition and nutrient content of the leaves only mineral matter level and magnesium level presented statistical differenceDownloads
