<em>In vivo</em> digestibility of diets based on ground corn or triticale and soybean meal or yeast in confined nelore heifers

Abstract

Forthy-eight 18-month-age Nelore heifers and 235kg of live weight were utilized to evaluate the effect of diets based on ground corn or triticale and soybean meal or yeast on apparent digestibility of DM, CP, OM, GE, NDF and ADF using insoluble ash in acid as an internal indicator. No interaction between feeds was found. The apparent digestibility did not differ between feeds in the parameters studied.
