Abstract
This trial was carried out aiming to evaluate the value of apparent digestibility coefficient (ADC) of dry matter (ADCDM), crude energy (ADCCE) and crude protein (ADCCP) of cotton seed meal (CSM) from Nile tilapia and piavuçu. 20 tilapia and 20 piavuçu were utilized, with mean weight of 167.0 ± 24.3g and 168.1 ± 25.6g, respectively. The fish were allocated in 500 L tanks during the day, and at night in 150L feces collecting cubes with conic end. The ADC was determined by indirect method with 0.1% of chromic oxide (Cr2O3) indicator. ADC from Nile tilapia to DM, CP e CE were 70.23, 88.70 and 71.76%, respectively. From piavuçu, the ADC to DM, CP and CE were 58.38, 77.95 and 59.33%, respectively.Downloads
