Abstract
This study is about education praxis in health in relation to child’s care. The objective is to understand educational action in child’s care context, identifying professional’s conception and interventions in the families. We used assumptions of ethnography and the speech of collective subject. The professional’s conception presented some convergent points on the daily praxis appeared in the categories: Education in health as orientation to the care; Education in health as communicative and relational process; Teamwork and educational practice planning. We concluded that education in health is an indispensable praxis to child’s care, because it makes easier the approach of professional to the family, allows accompaniment of growth and development, improving life quality. Therefore, we should overcome authoritative attitudes and facilitate the communication net between professional and the family who is also responsible for the child’s health, making them subjects of action.Downloads
