Abstract
This is a qualitative research, aiming to understand the care experimented by the family member caregivers in the home context, in their relationship with nurse, and also, to describe the actions and interactions performed with the nurse in this context. Interviews with family member caregivers linked with three health institutions that rend home assistance were recorded. Data analysis was based on Symbolic Interactionism and Grounded Theory. Thus, this study helped to understand the need of nurse’s work and the relationship developed through nursing care actions, visualizing the nurse’s work.Downloads
