Abstract
A wide range of post-colonial novels has been published during the 1990s and the first years of the 21st century. A selection of recently-published novels in English by Coetzee, Gordimer, Melville, Naipaul, Melville, Phillips, Roy and Rushdie, all postcolonial writers from South Africa, India and the Caribbean, and their principal issues are presented to the reader. The diaspora and transculturation themes are foremost in these novels and may open discussions for further and deeper researchDownloads
