Neologisms from translation and their morphological formation in a specialty language
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to discuss the results of the morphological formations identified in a monolingual terminological investigation. Therefore a theoritical contextualization to localize the reader in the issues dealing with terminology, specialty language and possibilities of morphological formation of these neologisms is provided. The diversity of these formations in the specialty language studied was verified through the adaptation of neologisms derived from translations. It may be concluded that the Portuguese language has progressively been changed into a language of specialized communication.Downloads
