Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss briefly the performance of government and capital in urban space production. These categories are fundamental to understand the peculiarities of a capitalist city.

Cesar Miranda Mendes, UEM

Possui graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1980) , doutorado em Geografia (Geografia Humana) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1992) e pos-doutorado pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2002) . Atualmente é Professor associado C da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Geografia , com ênfase em Geografia Humana. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Verticalização, Urbanização, Maringá, Plano Currículo Lattes
