Abstract

This study makes a comparative analysis of the way Torga and Piñon built up the feminine in their respective stories Areia Humana and Colheita. This investigation focuses on the relationship between man and woman, oppressor and oppressed built up by ideology in the course of time. The female protagonist’s development constitutes the parameters of the analysis.

possui graduação em Letras pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1987), mestrado em Letras pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994), doutorado em Letras pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2001) e pós-doutorado pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2007) . ´Compõe o corpo docente do Departamento de Letras e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literatura Brasileira, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: literatura de autoria feminina, crítica literária feminista, personagem feminina, representação, Nélida Piñon e Patrícia Melo.
