The building of the feminine in contemporary Portuguese and Brazilian literatures: Miguel Torga and Nélida Piñon
Abstract
This study makes a comparative analysis of the way Torga and Piñon built up the feminine in their respective stories Areia Humana and Colheita. This investigation focuses on the relationship between man and woman, oppressor and oppressed built up by ideology in the course of time. The female protagonist’s development constitutes the parameters of the analysis.Downloads
