Brazilian Catholic Action: some notes
Abstract
The present text deals with the establishment of parishes and dioceses in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, during and after D. Duarte Leopoldo e Silva’s archbishopric (1908-1938), in the context of Catholic Action programs which were developed after the papacy of Pius X, as a strategy to enlist laymen against modernism and communist projects.Downloads
