The influence of social relationships on the network formation, evolution and performance of the Artisans Brasil
Abstract
The aim of this paper was analyze the influence of social relations network in the formation, evolution and performance of the Artisans Brasil. The social networks of relationships are vital to the establishment of partnerships between social actors. Qualitative, descriptive research was developed with cross-sectional and longitudinal perspective that collected data through thirteen semi-structured interviews. Were used Ucinet and Atlas.ti softwares for building the relationships network sociogram and coding of the interviews, which contributed to the content analysis. Contributions: (a) how social networks influence the performance of Artisans Brasil; (b) how social skills of the main actor in the network relationships were key to the results achieved; and (c) how findings contribute to discussions about changes in social and organizational networks. The formation and evolution of social relationships network boosted the national and international operation of this Cooperative, ensuring greater visibility and competitiveness in these markets.
