From (sustainable) development to environmental ethics
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of sustainable development and how it supports environmental ethics. For your best resourcefulness, the text is divided into two parts: in the first, the concept of sustainable development will be examined; in the second, to think the concept of environmental ethics. Now, to what extent could sustainable development have an ethical dimension? Would it be a good answer in the light of environmental ethics in the face of huge development? We hope to contribute to the debate on sustainable development and, above all, to the advancement of studies on environmental ethics in Brazil.
