Sustainable development and the permanence of youth in the rural environment of a city south-central region of Paraná

Abstract

The purpose of this study is understood as of young people from rural areas in relation to sustainable development and about their permanence in the rural areas of the city of Guarapuava/PR, focusing on SDGs 2, 8 and 11. of sustainable development - SDGs, Agenda 2030 UN, through the cycle of consumption of agricultural products in urban centers, and for the care with nature, among others. The methodological procedures had a qualitative and exploratory approach, with semi-structured interviews using the Snowball technique, with the participation of 8 young people from rural communities in the municipality, adapting to content analysis. As a result, it is verified that young people are promoted from some actions carried out on rural properties. As for keeping in the countryside, dependent on opportunities and resources to improve the family's income and ensure the continuity of the enterprise on the properties. The contributions of the development of the study to the representativeness of family farming for the, considering the permanence of young people to the rural and sustainable country of the place. Various improvements to the use of technologies and innovation to assist in sustainable development, in addition to providing improvements that are to meet the assessed SDGs not with regard to sustainable agriculture production and ensuring economic and financial stability of household improvements.
