Gramsci’s reception by José Aricó and Carlos Nelson Coutinho
Abstract
Since it’s first publications in the second post war Italy, the works of the italian politic and intellectual Antonio Gramsci has raised intense discussions. This occurs, beyond the fragmented character of his works, due to a political dimension implied in the edition and reception process. Therefore, the presente article aims to comprehend Gramsci’s reception in Latin America between 1960 and 1990 as from the intellectual interventions of the argentinian José Maria Aricó and the brasilian Carlos Nelson Coutinho. Onwards the authors' analysis we intend to demonstrate how Gramsci’s thought was mobilized and recriated as from political intencionalities.
