Evaluation of the environmental perception of students of the basic teaching resident in the hydrographic basin of the São Pedro stream – Juiz de Fora/MG

Abstract

The following work had the objective to evaluate the environmental perception of the resident students in the Hydrographic Basin of São Pedro Stream, situated at the urban area of city of Juiz de Fora/MG. It was given to the students there some questionnaires with the purpose of evaluate the relative knowledge to the hydrographic basin concept and to the social-environment issues presents in the area and evaluate its identification capacity of the involved agents at the process and to point out solutions to minimize the environmental degradation state of the hydrographic basin. It’s expected that this work can offer subsidies to the elaboration of a study proposal of the area that get to the systemic vision and implicit integrator at the hydrographic basin spatial unit and that has as last objective the environmental citizenship construction of the involved students.
