Incorporation and exploration: condominiums horizontals and verticals as a means of social segregation urban space in Rondonópolis - MT
Abstract
This article aims to further examine the role played by the incorporation in the production of condominiums closed vertical and horizontal of the city of Rondonópolis - MT, especially since 1990, via three references, namely referential theoretical and methodological (in this case, the analytical categories - the State / Government, Capital), empirical and technical reference benchmark. Like most of the cities medium, Rondonópolis is characterized by presenting an accelerated growth of its urban area and its population, many emerging social and space contradictions. The contradictions that come in the urban space of Rondonópolis are large, such as socio-spatial segregation, the result of a process of accelerated growth of the city linked to several economic periods through which passed the council, mainly through the expansion of the agricultural frontier from the 1970, based on extensive livestock and the monoculture of soybeans. In Rondonópolis, although there is no space totally socially homogenized, there are several areas that are in the process of separation of social classes and that in a very near future, if no public policy is adopted, will become fully differentiated spaces socially and spatially among themselves.
