Abstract

Under focus is a diagnostic assessment, delimited in accord to the research title and developed from interviews with pedagogic agents and teachers of the inquired schools, as well from classroom observation and documental analysis; collected data were treated by content analysis methodology (BARDIN, 1977), resulting in evidences to the incipient condition of the environmental dimension within school practices – as consequence to a deficient both initial as continued subjects‟ professional preparation, in the area of Environmental Education. Considering theoretic-methodological criteria in that same area, pedagogic-institutional and community suggestions were given in view to continuation and improvement of Environmental Education projects in Curitiba‟s municipal schools.

Taís Wojciechowski Santos, PREFEITURA MUNICIPAL DE CURITIBA, SECRETARIA MUNICIPAL DA EDUCACAO
Possui Graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1996), Especialização em Pedagogia Terapêutica pela Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná (1998) e Mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2006). É professora do curso de Pedagogia da Faculdade Expoente desde 2005. Atua como professora na Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba desde 1993 e desde 2001 como pedagoga da Secretaria Municipal da Educação de Curitiba.
