Abstract

This article aims at reporting the experience of nursing students performed on stage in a Psychosocial Care Center Drug and Alcohol (CAPS AD), provided by the Labor Education Program (PET) Health / Mental Health, crack, alcohol and other drugs at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). The services performed by PET favored a closer relationship between academia and the mental health care services in the city, which gave students the opportunity to link the theoretical to the practical learning. In addition, it encourages the establishment of links between students, practitioners and users mainly through an interdisciplinary work. PET Health / Mental Health crack, alcohol and other drugs proposed program adds to the teaching qualification and especially to the promotion of a humanized care.
