Prevention and detection of mistakes on medication

Abstract

Mistakes on medication happen and have always been present in the quotidian of a health care. Being the mistake an undeniable fact it is agreed that the focus in facing and overcoming the problem should permeate planned and systematized preventive measures. Thus, this work has the objective of identifying methods to prevent and detect mistakes on medication. The present work is a survey on the theme. It was concluded that the strategies implanted in any other social context, can be adapted and implemented in our reality, even with so many difficulties and adversities as there are in the Brazilian health system.
